How the cheats
work
Honest durak has rules about what you may throw in and how many cards you may hold. A cheat room keeps the rules and takes away the enforcement. Everybody at the table agreed to sit here, and everybody is allowed to shout.
One switch,
at the door
Cheating is a table setting, not a hidden exploit. You can enable it when you create a game, or before an online quick match.
- Manual refill the deck stops dealing for you.
- Rank rules off what you throw in is your business.
- One call per round, one physical check per bout.
- No grades the coach sits these games out.
House rules Bots never cheat. They do watch the felt, and they will call you on it. ♠ Baba Shura will not sit at a cheating table.
Three things
you can get away with
Physical honesty still holds. They are your cards, it is your turn, the table really takes cards right now. Only the social rules come off.
Sneak
Honest durak lets you throw in only ranks already on the table. Here you can throw in anything. The wrong rank sits on the felt in front of everyone until the bout clears.
The tell It is public. Anyone can read the mismatch, bots included.
Stack
Drag one card in your hand onto another and they arm as a pair. Play the pair and both cards leave your hand, but only the top one shows. Tap the pair to split them back up.
It rides attacks and defences alike. On a defence the top card still has to beat honestly, so the stack is the only crime.
The tell None on their screens. Only a check or a shout finds it.
Draw short
In a cheat room the deck does not refill you. After every bout you tap it card by card and press Enough when you are done. Stopping below six is the cheat, and a smaller hand is closer to an empty one.
The tell Card counts are true. Anyone paying attention sees a short hand.
Nobody cheats
by accident
A misdrag is not a crime. Every cheat goes through the same deliberate gesture and the same sheet, which tells you exactly what you are buying before you buy it.
Every sheet ends with the line that keeps this legal: this table allows cheating, everybody agreed to it.
Two ways to catch one
One is loud and free. One is quiet and certain. You get both, and you can waste both.
Shout it
A blind accusation at the whole table. You do not name a card or a player, you just say somebody is dirty. The game checks the felt, then the last refill window.
- Right call The cheat takes the whole table, hidden cards included.
- Short draw They buy back the cards they dodged, plus two.
- Wrong call You take the table instead.
- Empty table A wrong shout costs you two off the deck.
- Budget One call per round.
Check it
Slide the top card of one pair aside and look underneath. If a card is hidden there it is revealed and called on the spot. Nothing hidden and the table just watched you accuse somebody for free.
- Certain A hidden card cannot survive a check.
- Public Everyone sees the slide happen.
- Budget One check per player per bout.
- Blind spot A check never finds a sneak. That is the shout's job.
Getting caught
costs more
every time
The ladder is per player, per match, and it does not reset when the bout does.
You take the table
Every card on the felt goes into your hand. The bout ends there.
Sleeves up
Your hand plays face up for a full bout. Everyone reads it.
Закатай рукаваYou are the durak
The match ends on the spot and it ends with your name on it.
Sit down dishonest
Pick Allowed at the door. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for, and nobody at the table can complain about it afterwards.
